I planted a small one of these two years ago as a trial and now I’ve fallen in love, again. Curved, reflexed leaves, magnificent substance and striking coloring make Thunderbolt an irresistible new hosta. The leaves are the deep blue green of tornado weather, so thick they might almost be wax, with a flaring lightening strike down the middle.

4’ x 4’, blue-green leaves with a gold to white center, with light flowers and a good growth rate. Asexual propagation is prohibited.
