Leta's Ultra -ORDER HERE!

$10 each

An unregistered offspring of the old fashioned September Lily of my grandmother's day, these are named for my neighbor, Leta Cooper, who found them by the doorstep of their old farmhouse. This is a medium sized dark green hosta, with intense, ultraviolet bloom in July and distinctive, long lasting seed pods. The picture to the left was taken at dusk, when they seem to glow. The premiere hosta for naturalizing a wild area, creating order and beauty out of scrub, these are self seeding but only if left undisturbed. That makes them easy to control, and economical to cover large areas. A swath of these meandering through the woods creates a river of green.

24" wide x 18" high, bright purple blooms on 36 scapes, will self-sow if undisturbed, dark green in shade with gold overtones in the sun.
