There are so many large greens available, and I wanted the best! I must be a hopeless romantic that I can't resist the lure of a hosta so substantial and impressive that it's named after the Komodo dragon. Heavily ruffled and pointed leaves that resemble a dragon's head, and a rapid growth rate set this one apart from the other big greens. Appears to be almost impervious to pests. This is my first year growing this particular hosta, and I think it's going to be a real attention getter.

50+" wide x 24" high, semi upright, arching leaves are large and pointed, white flowers on 36" bloom scapes.
