My almost-favorite big blue ever. Substantial and impressive, more elegant than elegans, more refined than Blue Wedgewood, and topped by gossamer wings of flowers that give way to interesting and long lasting seed pods. My favorite blue doesn't exist yet, but will surely be a descendant of Blue Angel.

Up to 80" wide x 25" high, very blue, pointed leaves, white flowers, very neat mound, blooms in July. The picture below was taken only a few months after these were planted. The picture above is this year, in their second spring.
