Pride makes me want to say that these are sold out, but the reality is that they have failed my standards for being 'good growers'. It might be because of our heavy clay soils, or too much rain, or the hot/cold/hot/cold winter we had. Unless the ones that survived really outdo themselves and impress the heck out of me, I won't be offering these for sale. Lakeside Black Satin is a very glossy, very dark green that beautifully fulfills the difficult design function of a large but low and receding plant to help create the illusion of distance and depth. Pour a pool of shadow in front of a boulder, or plant several together in a small hollow and create the peace and feel of a woodland pond with almost none of the work or maintenance (or mosquitoes!) Use it anywhere you're trying to achieve more depth and contrast.

24" wide x 9" high,leaves are very dark green and slightly reflexed, the flowers are variable and two toned, white to lavender with rosy throats appearing in July.
